Once every four years, the World Cup brings the country we live in — the Netherlands — and the country we come from — Japan — face to face on the same pitch. That moment alone, even watched on TV, is already rare and special.

But in Amsterdam, we are surrounded by Japanese students, professionals, expat families, and people who love Japan. JSC believes that this is exactly the kind of moment a community should share together — not alone in front of a screen.

As the Japanese Student Club, we want to turn this 'one-night-only' atmosphere into something bigger: a chance to make the connection between Japan and the Netherlands visible in this city, and to remember it together.
